Q.
When is check-in and check-out?
A. Check-in is 4:00 pm, check-out is 11:00 am.
Q.
How close is the home to the Lake?
A. The lake is approximately 60 steps from our back door. You have full access to 75 feet of shoreline.
Q. What are the payment terms for my vacation?
A. The initial deposit is due when you book, and is equal to 50% of the total invoice. Final payment is due no later than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date.
Q. Aside from the rental rate listed what other costs apply?
A. In addition to the rental rate, standard state and local taxes apply. There is also a refundable Security Deposit, a non-refundable cleaning fee, and a non-refundable $59 Accidental Damage Insurance fee.
Q. What is the Accidental Damage Insurance?
The insurance plan is required, and covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damages that may occur during your stay. You must report any damages to avoid charges. Intentional damage to the property and/or missing items is the responsibility of the registered guest. All of our homes are carefully inspected before and after your stay. Payments for any damages will be charged to the credit card on file. Please inspect the property upon your arrival and report any damages to us immediately. If any damages should occur during your stay please call us so that the situation can promptly be taken care of.

How will I get the keys or gain access?
A. We have an electronic keypad on the door. A code will be provided to you upon final payment.
Q.
Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
A. No need to bring your own linens and towels. Our housekeeper will be providing fresh linens and towels at the beginning of your stay.
Q.
Is there a stocked kitchen?
A. Yes, the kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities (except food) and we encourage you to cook your own meals unless, of course, cooking isn’t your ideal vacation activity. Our town also has many great restaurants to choose from.

Is there internet access?
A. Yes, we have high speed wireless internet throughout our entire house.

Do you allow pets?
A. Pets are NOT allowed.

Is there daily housekeeping service?
A. There is not a daily housekeeping service. However, if you are interested, this can be provided at an additional fee.
Q. Is the cleaning fee refundable?
A. No. There is a cleaning fee assessed with each property. The home is professionally cleaned before and after your stay, so the cleaning fee is used for that purpose, and is not refunded to you.
Q. Why Should I book a vacation rental over a hotel?
A. There are many reasons to book a vacation home over a hotel. Firstly, renting your own vacation home ensures a private vacation without the nonsense and noise of staying in a hotel, allowing maximum enjoyment of your surroundings. Secondly, you have all the comforts of home, including a full kitchen to prepare all of your meals. You will also find that a vacation rental is considerable more affordable than a comparable hotel, leaving more money to plan exciting adventures while on vacation.
Q. How soon in advance should I secure my reservation?
A. It's very important to start your vacation rental planning as early as possible. Most travelers book 6 months in advance. It's very important to book in advance, especially when traveling to a popular vacation destination.
Q. Do I have to rent for a whole week? Will any of your properties rent for a shorter amount of time?
A. While the majority of our summer rentals do require a one week stay, others will rent for only a few nights. All of our properties do have a 3 night minimum requirement.
Q. What is required of me at check-out?
A. A list of check-out procedures can be found in the welcome guide. Basically, we ask that you strip the beds, make sure there aren’t any dirty dishes left in the sink and lock all windows and doors. It’s pretty easy and straight-forward.
Q. What if I have to cancel less than thirty days before reservation?
A. Please call us immediately in the event you need to cancel your vacation rental, and follow with a request in writing. If you have purchased Vacation Rental Insurance, please call your policy holder to determine if you have a covered cancellation.
If Guest wishes to cancel their reservation, any payments made will be refunded as follows:
• 100 % less $100.00 booking fee, if cancelled 60 days prior to the Check-in Date
• Security deposit and cleaning fee are 100% refundable in the case of cancellation

, for any reason, including weather, road conditions, Acts of God, mechanical failures at the rental, any noise or disturbance caused by outside parties or because of health or personal reasons. If full payment is not received at least 30 days prior to the Check-In Date, Homeowner may, without notice to Guest, treat the failure to pay as a cancellation by Guest of the reservation, may rent the property to another person, and may deal with the Reservation Deposit as provided under Guest Cancellation Policy as a Guest cancellation.
Q. I was required to pay a security deposit up front for the home I rented. When will that be refunded to me?
A. All security deposits are refunded within 7-14 days after your stay. If any amount of the deposit is withheld due to violation of rental policies, damage to the home or excessive cleaning, you will be notified at that time.
